PROGRAM WIDE
– The Parent Party was a huge success last weekend – thank you to those who came! Another huge thank you to Rhonda Fay, Sheree Carter, and Barbara Lucore for organizing everything and to the Robinsons for hosting!

VARSITY
Monday – Practice at 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Bonita Creek. Bus departs from NHHS at 1:45 and will arrive back at 4:15. Team Dinner hosted by the Robinson Family.
Tuesday – Away game at Huntington Beach High School at 3:15 p.m. Bus departs from NHHS Senior Parking Lot at 1:45 p.m.
Wednesday – Practice at 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. at Estancia High School
Thursday – Home game at Huntington Beach High School at 4:00 p.m. vs. Fountain Valley. Bus departs from NHHS Senior Parking Lot at 2:45 p.m.
Friday – Practice at 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Bonita Creek. Bus departs from NHHS at 1:45 and will arrive back at 4:15.

PROGRAM WIDE
– Thank you everyone for your understanding and flexibility as we continue to “go with the flow” this season while we are displaced due to the construction at Davidson field. The NHHS Athletic Office and the NMUSD Transportation are working to schedule buses to get the girls to Bonita Creek for practices, however the timing is uncertain. Coaches will communicate the location of practice as soon as we find out about bus availability.

Program Wide
– Uniforms were handed at out practice last Thursday. Uniform deposits will only be returned if the care and wash instructions are followed.
– Thank you to the parents who have signed up to volunteer for the program, if you haven’t yet, please – Our Annual Parent Party is Sunday, September 11. We will have an invitation up on the website this week.

The 2016 Field Hockey season is here! This is the first Stix Weekly post of the season. Each week there will be a post with everything you’ll need to know for the upcoming week and near future (as best as we can predict). There will be a ‘Program Wide’ section as well as individual team sections. These are our best laid plans for the week, so please be aware that information is always subject to change.

Program Wide
– Parent Meeting is Wednesday, August 24 at 7:00 p.m. the Social Hall at Newport Harbor High School.
– Uniforms distribution will be on Thursday (if uniform deposits are turned in). Uniform deposits will only be returned if the care and wash instructions are followed.
– Save the Date! Our Annual Parent Party is Sunday, September 11, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. More information coming soon.

Varsity
Monday – Morning conditioning at 8:00 a.m. at Harper. *All student athletes will register for classes at NHHS on Monday morning. Practice at 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Bonita Creek. Meet at Harper parking lot at 6:00 p.m. to depart for team trip.
Tuesday – Team Trip.
Wednesday – Arrive back from team trip; Practice at Bonita Creek at 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.

This is the last Stix Weekly – the season sure did fly by! Thank you for your incredible support and participation over the past few months.

PROGRAM WIDE
– We will be offering post season field hockey through the end of the semester. Post Season will be Mondays and Wednesdays, 2:30 – 5:00 p.m. Field location is TBA. Post Season will begin on Monday, November 9.
– Make sure to get all photos to your team photography collector or team mom for the Memory Book and Banquet Team Videos by Tuesday 11/3 at the latest. The memory books are right away to make sure they are printed and delivered by the banquet. Thank you for your help in making them a great memento!
– The Banquet Invitation will be posted online very soon, but be sure to save the date: Thursday, November 19!

VARSITY
Tuesday – Banquet Video Day at 2:00 p.m. at Harper in white uniform with sweaters.
Wednesday – Picture Day at 2:30 p.m. at the Balboa Pier. Click here for the Picture Day Order Form. Wear white uniform and sweater. We will then go to Estancia to deliver pizza to football as a thank you.
Monday (11/9) – Program Day and Uniform Turn In, 2:00 – 4:30 p.m. at Harper. Uniform & Practice Pennie must be washed and clean to receive full deposit. You must be there for the entire time unless you are attending soccer tryouts.
