Come get your car washed by the Newport Harbor Field Hockey Girls and support the program!
$10 donation per car.
*Each player is responsible for pre-selling 10 tickets, as well as washing cars at the car wash. The donations are to be turned in to Kathy Liotta or Nancy Long no later than Thursday, September 16.
Due to many requests for a more ‘manly’ shirt for the dads and other male fans to wear, the Newport Harbor Field Hockey ‘Manly’ T-Shirt has arrived. They will be on sale at Home Games for $15. Sizes include L, XL, and XXL.

Two of our Newport Harbor Field Hockey Alumni will begin their seasons this Friday! Coach Judy Schaefer and some current players are making the trip up to Cal Berkley’s Maxwell Field to watch their games. Good luck to both teams!
The two teams will face one another in a conference event on Saturday, September 18.

The Parent Meeting this Wednesday (August 25 at 7 p.m.) will be held in the teachers dining room, Room #138, at Newport Harbor High School. The closest parking lot for this room is the Senior Lot off 15th Street. Walk straight through the quad between Dodge Hall and Beek Hall toward the Library. We will do our best to make it easy and clear to find.
Also, a reminder to download the Player Fees & Registration Form and bring it to the meeting (if you have not already mailed it in).

The following are the dates and times for Summer Practices. Practice schedules during the school year will be determined and then posted around August 31.
FROSH/SOPH – Monday, August 30 through Friday, September 3 at 3:30 – 5 p.m.
JUNIOR VARSITY – Monday, August 23 through Friday, September 3 at 3 – 4:30 p.m.
VARSITY: Be sure to look at the schedule carefully and plan accordingly. Conditioning will generally be one hour and practice will be two hours. Contact me at amandamboyer@gmail.com if you have any questions.

The Fall 2010 Parent Meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 25 at 7 p.m. The meeting will be located in the Social Hall at Newport Harbor High School (the room to the left of the big anchor facing Irvine Avenue).
Please download the Player Fees & Registration Form and either mail it to the Booster Treasurer, Nancy Rohan, or bring it to the parent meeting.
It is very important that one or both parents be present to represent their daughter. This will be a chance to meet the coaching staff, Booster Board, and other parents. There will also be an opportunity to sign up for team dinners and other volunteer positions, purchase merchandise, and hear about the upcoming fall season.
