The athletes in off-season Newport Harbor field hockey had the opportunity to play in a fun scrimmage on Wednesday against a high school team that was visiting from Canada. The scrimmage ended in a 2-2 tie with goals scored by Riley Flanagan and Jordan Blanchfield. It was a great afternoon of field hockey!

Happy New Year! We hope that everyone had a nice holiday season!
Just a reminder that Off Season Field Hockey will resume on Monday, January 7 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. We will not have practice during the week of finals on 1/28 & 1/30.
Also, there are still 10 memory books left to be picked up – text Coach Amanda Boyer if you have not received yours yet.
We will not have Off-Season field hockey today due to the condition of the field from the past few days of rain. We will have practice on Wednesday.
If you haven’t picked up your memory book from Amanda’s office at St. Andrew’s, please do so. The books are a really special memento from the season. Thanks again to Donna Newman and Kari Fuller for your hard work!

Off Season Field Hockey will begin next Monday, December 3 from 3 – 5 p.m. on the grass by the softball field. Consistent attendance will count towards the PE credit. Upperclassmen who wish to receive PE credit for Field Hockey on their transcripts must finish out the off season through the end of the semester. Off Season will held on Mondays and Wednesdays. We will not have practices during the winter recess. For Off Season we ask for a contribution of $75 per player for Dec – June to cover costs. The players who are involved with other sports can join off season in May, we ask for a contribution of $25. Please email Coach Amanda Boyer if you have any questions.
