Parent Meeting

The Fall 2013 Parent Meeting will be held on Monday, August 26 at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be located in the Student Center at St. Andrew’s.

Please download the 2013 NHFH Contribution/Registration/Merchandise Form, fill out the bottom form, and bring everything to the parent meeting.

It is very important that one or both parents be present to represent their daughter. This will be a chance to meet the coaching staff, Booster Board, and other parents. There will also be an opportunity to sign up for team dinners and other volunteer positions, purchase merchandise and photo packages, and hear about the upcoming fall season.

We hope to see you there!

2013/2014 Teams Posted

The 2013-2014 Newport Harbor Field Hockey Teams and information has been posted to the Teams Page.

“Thank you to all who participated in the summer camp and tryouts. The Newport Harbor Field Hockey program is very competitive and there are only a limited number of spots between our three teams. The coaching staff had to make some difficult decisions as we considered each athlete’s skill, speed, stamina, strength, progression, coach-ability, work ethic, attitude, and 4-year potential. While we look forward to the 2013-2014 season, we regret having to cut any player and recognize the dedication and commitment that she has shown by participating in the summer camp. We hope that this disappointment does not stop athletes from pursuing the many other activities and programs offered at Newport Harbor High School. We also invite those who did not get placed onto a team to tryout next year. If you have any questions or would like an assessment of current strengths and areas for improvement, please feel free to contact me at amandamboyer@gmail.com. Thank you again for your participation and understanding.” – Amanda Boyer
