Parent Meeting Tomorrow

The Fall 2014 Parent Meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 20 at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be located in the Student Center at St. Andrew’s.

Please download the 2014 NHFH Contribution/Registration/Merchandise form, fill out the bottom part, and bring everything to the parent meeting. In the past we have had the sweatshirt, sweatpants, and t-shirt order on the merchandise form, but we are getting some new items and need to wait on pricing, so they will be ordered separately as soon as possible.

It is very important that one or both parents be present to represent their daughter. This will be a chance to meet the coaching staff, Booster Board, and other parents. There will also be an opportunity to sign up for team dinners and other volunteer positions, purchase merchandise and photo packages, and hear about the upcoming fall season.

We hope to see you there!

2014/2015 Teams Posted

The 2014-2015 Newport Harbor Field Hockey Teams have been posted to the Teams Page.

“Thank you to all who participated in the summer camp and tryouts. The Newport Harbor Field Hockey program is very competitive. The coaching staff had to make some very difficult decisions as we considered each athlete’s skill, speed, stamina, strength, progression, coach-ability, work ethic, attitude, and 4-year potential. While we look forward to the 2014-2015 season, we regret having to cut any player, or keep any player from advancing to another team, and recognize the dedication and commitment that she has shown by participating in the summer camp. We hope that this disappointment does not stop athletes from pursuing the many other activities and programs offered at Newport Harbor High School. We also invite those who did not get placed onto a team to tryout next year. If you have any questions or would like an assessment of current strengths and areas for improvement, please feel free to contact me at amandamboyer@gmail.com. Thank you again for your participation and understanding.” – Amanda Boyer
