*The Newport Harbor High School Field Hockey Tryouts are separate from the Newport Harbor Field Hockey Summer Camp. Newport Harbor Field Hockey is a competitive program and spots are limited. No player, returning or new, is guaranteed a spot on any team. Student athletes are evaluated on attributes such as skill, speed, stamina, strength, progression, coach-ability, work ethic, attitude, commitment, character, and potential.

*Practices and season for all three teams begin Monday, August 8 with games beginning the week of 8/15.
**During the summer, times for practices for all three teams are TBD.

We are offering a Spring Kids Camp this month! We will have four 1-hour sessions on every Wednesday afternoon, 3:00 – 4:00 pm, from May 11 – June 1. Our coaches and players will teach kids about the basics of field hockey, get them some exercise, and play fun games!

– This is the last Stix Weekly – what a great season! Thank you for your incredible support and participation over the past few months!!
– The banquet evite will be sent via email. When you RSVP, please do not include players. Players should contact their coach if they cannot attend, otherwise we will assume that they are attending. If you did not receive the email, please contact newportharborfieldhockey@gmail.com.
– Off Season Field Hockey, which is a PE credit class, will begin on November 8. It will take place twice per week during seventh or eighth period. Schedule coming soon.

Tuesday – Uniform Turn In, 1:45 – 2:30 p.m. All uniform items must be clean with stains removed (oxy clean!) as best as possible; The uniform you are returning includes plaid skirt, white home jersey, navy away jersey and practice jersey. Please return in large ziplock baggie.
