This Saturday is jam packed for the Newport Harbor Field Hockey Program.

JV and Frosh/Soph will be at Westminster High School for the Allied Sports Day. Players must be at the field by 7:15 a.m., dressed and ready to warm up. Games are 25 minutes long and begin promptly as one clock runs all fields. JV will play as Newport 1 and F/S will play in the JV Bracket as Newport 2. There will be an EZ-Up for each team to rest under between games. Be sure to bring both uniforms, lots of water, and some healthy snacks.

8:00 a.m. Newport 1 vs. Harvard 1- Field 1
10:00 a.m. Newport 1 vs. Huntington – Field 1
12:00 p.m. Newport 1 vs. Chaminade – Field 1
2:00 p.m. Newport 1 vs. Marina – Field 1

F/S Schedule:
8:00 a.m. Newport 2 vs. Harvard 2 – Field 2
9:00 a.m. Newport 2 vs. Chaminade – Field 1
11:00 a.m. Newport 2 vs. Westminster – Field 1
1:00 p.m. Newport 2 vs. Fountain Valley – Field 1

Varsity will be in Chula Vista at the Otay Ranch Field Hockey Tournament. The top two teams in each pool will advance on to next weekend. Games are 25 minute halves with a 5 minute half time. Players must be at the field by 7:15 a.m., ready to warm up, and are to find their own rides to and from the tournament on Saturday. There will be a number of vendors present at the tournament such as 4U Field Hockey, Jamba Juice, and STX/South Swell. Be sure to bring both uniforms, lots of water, and some healthy snacks.
