2016 NHHS Tryout Release Form<\/a><\/p>\n <\/a>NHHS Athletic Packet 2015-2016<\/a> Tryouts are on August 15 \u2013 17, Monday thru Wednesday, new players at 1:00 \u2013 3:30 p.m. and returning players at 2:30 \u2013 5:00 p.m., at Harper. If you do not have this paperwork, you cannot participate and there will be no makeup tryout held.<\/p>\n *Newport Harbor Field Hockey is a competitive program and spots are limited. No player, returning or new, is guaranteed a spot on any team. Student athletes are evaluated on attributes such as skill, speed, stamina, strength, progression, coach-ability, work ethic, attitude, commitment, character, and potential.<\/p>\n **Newport Harbor High School is a public institution that promises \u201cinclusion of all students\u201d <\/em>and at no time will a student be dismissed from a curricular, co-curricular or extra-curricular program attached to the school, dismissed from instruction, and\/or receive a lower grade due to a financial hardship.
