In addition to the presentation, Paul has also offered to arrange a free evaluation for field hockey  players with Coach Zowie  Tucker, former field hockey coach at U-Mass,  Amherst and Holy Cross, who  is now a Head Scout at NCSA.<\/p>\n<p>Nationally recognized speaker and college recruiting expert Paul Putnam from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncsasports.org\/recruiting-tools\/NCAA-College-Field-Hockey-Recruiting\" target=\"_blank\">NCSA Athletic Recruiting<\/a> will be presenting &#8216;<strong>College Recruiting Simplified&#8217; <\/strong>on <strong>Monday, March 14 at 6:30 p.m.<\/strong> <strong>in the Social Hall<\/strong>.<strong> <\/strong>The seminar is free to all students and their families.<\/p>\n<p>Putnam  will guide parents and student-athletes through the importance of  establishing athletic and academic goals, setting realistic expectations  and seeking opportunities at all college and division  levels.<\/p>\n<p>Topics covered include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> The benefits of playing college sports<\/li>\n<li> Reading college coach communications between the lines<\/li>\n<li> When the recruiting process starts<\/li>\n<li> How to get discovered<\/li>\n<li> How coaches evaluate prospects<\/li>\n<li> How to set realistic expectations<\/li>\n<li> High school and club coaches\u2019 roles<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You may have received an invitation through the school, but we just wanted to highlight it once again.
