Here is the first of many Stix Weekly<\/em> posts. Each week there will be a post with everything (well, we\u2019ll try) you\u2019ll need to know for the upcoming week and near future. There will be a \u2018Program Wide\u2019 section as well as individual team sections. These our best laid plans<\/em> for the week, so it is always subject to change.<\/p>\n

Program Wide<\/strong>
\n– Car Wash Fundraiser is Saturday, September 24 at 8:30 a.m. \u2013 12:30 p.m. Tickets were handed out at practice on Thursday. Each player is responsible for pre-selling<\/em> ten tickets at $10 per ticket. Money is due by Friday, September 23.
\n– Information on USA Futures was posted on the website on Friday, make sure to let one of your coaches know if you are interested.<\/p>\n

Varsity<\/strong>
\nMonday \u2013 Happy Labor Day!
\nTuesday \u2013 First game of the season! Home game is on Davidson Field at 3:15 vs. Bonita. Players are to be at the field at 2:00 p.m., wearing white uniforms and white socks, ready to set up the field and warm up.
\nWednesday \u2013 Practice at 3 \u2013 5 p.m. & Team Dinner at the Newman Home.
\nThursday \u2013 Away game at Harvard Westlake at 3:15. Players will be dismissed from class early, time TBA. Bring both jerseys and socks, and bring cleats and running shoes.
\nFriday \u2013 Practice at 3 \u2013 5 p.m.
\nSaturday \u2013 Otay Ranch Field Hockey Tournament in Chula Vista, CA. Game times are 8 a.m., 11 a.m., and 1 p.m. Players are responsible for finding rides to and from the field and must be there by 7:15 a.m. Otay Ranch High School: 1250 Olympic Parkway, Chula Vista, CA 91913. If the team place in the top two spots in our pool, we will advance to continue play next Saturday, September 17, but we will leave Friday afternoon to spend the night before game day.<\/p>\n

JUNIOR VARSITY
