\n“Grumman, a sophomore defender, joined Legg and Graham in making it difficult for opponents to find quality shots. However, Grumman also had a hand in arguably two of Kenyon’s biggest goals of the season. She set up the team’s only goal in an NCAC semifinal match-up at the College of Wooster, a 1-0 triumph for the Ladies. Three days later, Grumman then banged home the lone score in regulation in the NCAC championship game against Wittenberg University, which Kenyon ultimately won, 2-1, in a stroke-off.”

\n“Whitfield, the Wolverines’ only second-team pick, received All-Region honors for the first time in her career in recognition of her key role among the U-M defensive corps. An All-Big Ten second team selection and the Wolverines’ primary stick stopper on the penalty-corner unit, Whitfield led Michigan this season with a career-high 10 assists and one defensive save.”<\/p>\n
