Newport Harbor Field Hockey 2026 Summer Camp &
\nNewport Harbor High School Field Hockey Tryouts<\/strong><\/h1>\n

***No prior experience is necessary to participate in camp and tryouts. The majority of players entering high school have not played field hockey before. The purpose of the summer camp is to teach the sport to athletes interested in trying out. We have an excellent coach to athlete ratio to make it the best possible atmosphere for learning.<\/em><\/p>\n

\n<\/u><\/strong>Water, running shoes, mouth guard, & shin guards
\n<\/u><\/strong>*Returning players are to have LAFHA approved shin guards & goggles
\nNHHS Athletic Clearance<\/span> <\/a>and NH Field Hockey Signed Waiver<\/span><\/a> are required <\/em><\/strong>on the first day of camp.<\/u><\/p>\n

Newport Harbor High School Field Hockey Try-Out Dates & Practice Start<\/strong>
\n<\/span><\/strong>The 2026\/2027 Tryouts will be held on July 29 and 30, 8:00 \u201310:30 a.m. for both new and returning players at Davidson Field.<\/p>\n

*The Newport Harbor High School Field Hockey Tryouts are separate from the Newport Harbor Field Hockey Boosters Summer camp. Newport Harbor Field Hockey is a competitive program and spots are limited. No player, returning or new, is guaranteed a spot on any team. Student athletes are evaluated on attributes such as skill, speed, stamina, strength, progression, coach-ability, work ethic, attitude, commitment, character, and potential.<\/p>\n

*Practices and season for all teams begin Monday, August 10.<\/strong>
\n**Varsity Team Trip dates are TBD.<\/strong><\/p>\n
