Thanks to all who came out for the Newport Harbor Field Hockey’s 6th Annual Alumni Game! We had a great turn out for the game – both players and fans!

The Boosters made a great BBQ lunch for all and there was a handful of parents who made the entire day possible. Thanks to the Chandlers, Rohans, Nultys, Dave Conant, Bart Evans and Jim Palmer!!

2011-2012 Teams Posted

“Thank you to all who participated in our summer camp and tryouts. This year marked the largest number of new players in the program’s history, therefore the selection process was very difficult as there are only a limited number of spots between the three teams. The coaching staff and I had to make some tough decisions as we considered each athlete’s skill, speed, stamina, strength, progression, coach-ability, work ethic, attitude, and 4-year potential. While we look forward to the 2011-2012 season, we regret having to cut any player and recognize the dedication and commitment that she has shown by participating in the summer camp. We hope that this disappointment does not stop athletes from pursuing the many other activities and programs offered at Newport Harbor High School. We also invite those who did not get placed onto a team to tryout next year. If you have any questions or would like an assessment of current strengths and areas for improvement, please feel free to contact me at amandamboyer@gmail.com.

Thank you again for your participation and understanding,

Amanda Boyer”
